The methods of automatic control generally include mechanical, relay, numerical control, programmable logic controller (PLC), and the use of microcomputers. PLCs and microcomputers have many advantages, such as flexible control and easy use. They are now widely used. Of course, using relays to achieve system self-control has the advantages of simple structure, easy installation, direct driving of actuators, and low price, and also has many applications.
1、 Automatic control of pressure pneumatic conveying
The design of the automatic control system for the pressure pneumatic conveying device is mainly based on the layout of the entire system, the characteristics of the equipment structure, performance requirements, and the level of automatic control. Figure 1 shows the layout of a double chamber pump pressure pneumatic conveying device. When the compressed air reaches the specified value, connect the working air source and control air source, and start working.
The operation process of this device is as follows:
1. Pressure feeding operation process
1) The exhaust valve is open, the feed valve is open, and loading begins.
2) When the material is full, the material level is indicated and a signal is sent out.
3) Loading stops, the feed valve closes, and the exhaust valve also closes simultaneously.
4) By forming a switch on the feed valve, the position relay contacts are closed, the intake valve is opened, and the bin pump is used for intake and discharge. When one bin pump is feeding in and out, the other bin pump is releasing air and feeding in, and the two bin pumps are alternately feeding in and out.
