    Working principle of Roots blower: It is a dual rotor compression machine, with the axes of the two rotors parallel to each other. The rotor is composed of an impeller and a shaft, with small gaps between the impellers and between the impellers and the casing and wall panels to prevent mutual contact. The two rotors are driven by the prime mover through a pair of synchronous gears, rotating at the same speed in opposite directions. With the mutual meshing of the two impellers (assuming their blades are in contact with each other), the inlet and outlet of the blower are not directly connected, and the inkjet is enclosed by the casing and wall panels, forming a closed elementary volume whose size does not change during rotation. For the convenience of transportation, small fans can be directly packaged and transported. The single-stage grouping (as shown in the figure above) refers to assembling small and medium-sized blowers and matching motors on the same machine base, and installing, packaging, and transporting them as a whole; According to customer needs, sometimes in order to make the system more compact and convenient for users to select and install, it can also be assembled into a dense complete set of units (see the figure below), which is composed of a blower, motor, muffler, filter, valve, etc., all of which are specific to small and medium-sized Roots blowers.

There are also two-stage units, in which a cooler (also known as an intercooler) needs to be installed between the two stages of the Roots blower to control the inlet temperature of the second stage within a certain limit; In a two-stage wet vacuum pump, cooling water is injected into the casing through the inlet of the first stage and discharged from the second exhaust port along with the airflow; Its transmission methods include direct coupling (dual axis extension motor), belt coupling (suspension type), and belt coupling (bracket type).
