In order to improve the melting efficiency of electric furnace, strengthen smelting, reduce power consumption and reduce material consumption, foam slag submerged arc operation technology is adopted in 100t electric furnace.

The system mainly consists of an intermediate silo, a sending tank, electronic weighing, electronic control, and an air circuit system. The silo is a cylindrical body with a capacity of 5 square meters, used for storing carbon powder. The top is equipped with a triangular knife that can cut the material bag, and the top of the cylinder is equipped with a filter screen that can screen out particles larger than 3mm. It also has a pneumatic arch breaking device, a level gauge, and a discharge valve. The loading system has manual maintenance valves, dual cylinder butterfly valves, soft connections, etc., which meet the weight isolation between the silo and the sending tank and achieve accurate weighing. The sending tank system includes feeding valves, swirl devices, discharge valves, exhaust valves, carbon powder flow regulators, injectors, branch valves, etc. The entire sending tank seat is on an electronic scale, and the loading and conveying processes can be dynamically displayed. Main technical parameters: sending tank 2m, maximum working pressure 0.4MPa, powder spraying flow rate 0-80kg/min. The pneumatic control system consists of a set of pneumatic control valves installed in the main valve box for easy maintenance and management. The electrical control system can achieve manual and automatic functions, with local buttons and remote operation, and is equipped with analog screen display. The electrical control box is equipped with a weighing display, and the automatic control program for powder spraying can be installed in the PLC of the Fuchs system. The control signals (solenoid valve, weight, material level, pressure, etc.) are connected to the PLC system of the electric furnace through the Remote IO unit interface inside the electrical control box, and there is also a drone interface.
