In order to improve management level, container pneumatic conveying devices can be used for the transportation of office documents, hospital laboratory test reports, postal telegraph reports and other objects in offices, hospitals, postal and other departments.

There are three types of pneumatic conveying devices: double connected, direct, and mainline. Double connected type is a double tube used for transporting container containers between two connection points. Its characteristic is that it has a large transportation volume, and each conveying pipe can transport several container containers in one direction at the same time. The direct type has a single tube structure with a reverse working system, which can ensure the bidirectional transportation of container loads. It can connect several through type receiving and transmitting stations to each other. The mainline type, as shown in Figure 1, belongs to the reversible pneumatic conveying device. Switching the fork can change the direction of airflow and container movement. The branch pipe passes through the receiving and transmitting station from the fork, and the blower station is equipped with a blower and a directional valve to change the direction of airflow inside the conveying pipe. This device ensures bidirectional communication between each transmitting and receiving station and any other transmitting and receiving station. The sent container, under the negative pressure of the airflow, enters the main pipe along the corresponding branch pipe and fork. Then, the turning valve of the fan station reverses, and the fork turns to pass through the position. The fork station that receives the container is set at the receiving position. In the conveying pipeline, the container enters the designated station under the pressure of the airflow. All devices are automatically converted, and the operator provides the address to which the container is to be shipped from the pre selected console.

    Hospitals have started using pneumatic conveying to transport laboratory test reports or medical records. Germany already has several pneumatic conveying devices with a diameter of 100mm. A Swedish hospital currently has 250 delivery stations that transport samples, drugs, equipment, medical records, and other items in container containers. The hospital spends 2% to 5% of the investment per bed on pneumatic conveying.

    The postal and telecommunications industry (including post offices, telephone and telegraph offices) is increasingly using containerized pneumatic conveying, often in the form of multi tube systems. With the emergence of large-diameter container pneumatic conveying, the possibility of mail pneumatic conveying has been expanded, and its future development is considerable.
