Basic design principles of dilute phase pneumatic conveying

   1. According to the flour mills commonly using low-pressure dilute phase pneumatic conveying in the grain industry, it is necessary to know the requirements of the flour blending process, the variety and quantity of the conveyed materials, and the distribution route of the finished products (including packaging or bulk), determine the arrangement of storage warehouse type, quantity, and size, and try to achieve compact layout and reasonable utilization;

   2. After mastering the above foundation, apply the characteristics of pressure pneumatic conveying, the principle of one feeding point, multiple unloading points, alternating conveying, and multiple uses of one machine; Reasonably integrate the conveying system while meeting the process requirements, to minimize the distance of pneumatic conveying and the number of pipelines;

   3. When determining the position and direction of each conveying pipeline, try to shorten the length, reduce the number of bends, and minimize the number of branch valves. Double way valves should be considered first for branch valves, which have a simple structure, small volume, flexible direction change, and easy maintenance. When arranging pure air pipes (which consume very little energy), the main consideration should not be too much impact on the workshop passage and aesthetics, and there is no need to worry about the length and number of bends of this section of the pipeline; For pure air pipes with high gas source pressure, the horizontal part along the gas source direction should have a 0.3% inclination to facilitate the concentration and collection of condensed water;

   5. In the pressure feeding system, it is necessary to simultaneously consider the collection and treatment of exhaust gas from the top of the warehouse or unloader, as well as the collection and treatment of air leakage from the feeder.
