Series and parallel use of warehouse pumps

    According to the discharge direction, bin pumps are divided into upward and downward bin pumps, and middle bin pumps.    In order to save energy and reduce long-term operating costs, continuous conveying can be used, and the warehouse pumps can be arranged and combined: single group of two tanks in parallel, single group of two tanks in series, and double group of two tanks in series.

   Parallel connection of two tanks in a single group is a commonly used continuous pneumatic conveying method. When one bin pump is conveying, the other bin pump is feeding; After the first conveyor is completed, it is switched by the switching valve; These process actions are implemented by electrical control and detection systems. The disadvantage of this arrangement is that when one bin pump is transporting, the other sending tank must empty the pressure inside the container before loading, which increases gas consumption and power consumption.

   A single group of two tanks connected in series is composed of vertically connected upper and lower tank pumps. The two containers are connected by a loading valve and have a pressure equalization valve and pipeline connection; Both the upper and lower storage pumps have level control meters to regulate the amount of material in the tank. When feeding, the conveying pressure of the lower bin pump is first sent to the upper bin pump through a pressure equalization valve, and the feeding is carried out under the condition of pressure equalization between the two devices. After the material transportation is completed, the loading valve and pressure equalizing valve are closed, and the exhaust valve is opened. After the air pressure in the upper storage pump is exhausted, the feeding can be carried out. After the material is filled, both the feeding valve and the exhaust valve are closed, and the material is transported to the lower bin pump, completing a cycle program to ensure continuous material transportation. All actions are automatically controlled by the programming controller.

   Double group two tank series connection is a form of connecting two single group two tanks in series in parallel. The characteristic of being connected in series is that when one bin pump delivers, the other bin pump feeds, and so on alternate operation, thus achieving continuous delivery. When the first group of materials is about to be transported, the inlet valve and the feeding valve are closed, and the air pressure stored in the lower compartment pump enters the upper compartment pump through the pressure equalization pipe. At the same air pressure, the loading valve opens and the materials enter the lower compartment pump, saving air consumption and reducing energy consumption.

   The combination of single and double sets, series and parallel of warehouse pumps realizes the continuous conveying of materials in pneumatic conveying devices, which has the advantages of high productivity, long conveying distance, and fully automatic control. It is widely used in the transportation of powder and granular materials in industries such as chemical, power, pharmaceutical, metallurgical, grain, and machinery.
