It plays a very important role in pneumatic conveying, and the bag filter is widely used due to its high dust removal efficiency. Although bag filter is a combination of multiple mechanisms for dust removal, the bag is still important, especially the initial layer formed by the bag during use, so the fault analysis of the dust collector.

    bag filterOne of the reasons for bag damage is that the bag mouth is blown open:

        1. Error in the spacing between the blowing holes on the blowing pipe;

        2. Error in spacing between flower board holes;

        3. The flatness of the flower board exceeds the standard;

        4. During installation, the spray hole and the flower plate hole are not aligned;

        5. Vertical deviation of the spray hole on the spray pipe.

    The preventive measures taken for bag mouth blowing caused by the above reasons are as follows:

        1. The standard requires a deviation of ≤ 2mm between the center of the spray hole and the center of the flower plate hole;

        2. A slightly constricted sleeve can be installed inside the frame mouth (not suitable for installing a Venturi tube) to prevent the bag mouth from blowing open. The length of the sleeve is 200mm.

        The second reason for bag filter bag damage is being burned by sparks. Measures to prevent it from being burned by sparks:

        1. Install a spark trap in front of the bag filter;

        2. Spray water on the equipment in front of the bag filter for fire extinguishing;

        3. Reasonably control the position of the suction hood at the dust point and ensure that the hood opening speed does not exceed 4m/s;

        4. The equipment should bypass the flue and promptly discharge the smoke with sparks.
