What are the components of a rotary feeding valve

The rotary feeding valve mainly consists of the following parts:

  1. Feeder body

  • Axle bearing warehouseInstalled on the body shaft, used to support and fix the rotational motion of the feeding rotor.

  • Piston hole seatLocated at the lower end of the feeder body, it can be adjusted according to different products and feeding requirements to meet specific feeding needs.

  • Feeding rotor

    • headLocated at both ends of the feeding rotor, used for sealing and preventing material leakage.

    • rotating partsIncluding bearings, rotor holes, etc., are key components for achieving the rotational motion of the feeding rotor.

    • impellerComposed of six to eight blades, it is the main component for material conveying in the rotary feeding valve. The material moves with the rotation of the impeller, fills the cavity of the impeller from the upper material bin or feeding device of the shell, and is then discharged from the lower part of the shell with the rotation of the impeller.

  • sealing ringUsed to prevent air leakage or intake during the rotation of the feeding rotor, ensuring the sealing and stability of the feeding process.

  • Contact grooveA special sealing ring used to fasten the joints of the entire system together, forming a compact, continuous, and reliable transmission structure.

  • driving deviceUsually composed of a motor and a reducer, it provides power for the rotation of the feeding rotor. After the motor is decelerated by the reducer, it drives the feeding rotor to rotate at an appropriate speed, thereby achieving uniform and continuous feeding of materials.

  • In addition, depending on the specific application scenario and requirements, the rotary feeding valve may also include other auxiliary components such as flange connectors, sensors, etc., to achieve connection with other equipment and monitor the status of the feeding process.
